At Open Forest Protocol (OFP), we’ve spent the last four years building the infrastructure needed to bring an $8.6 trillion nature-based asset class on-chain. Beyond the token mechanics, it’s the tools we’ve built—the Atlas Explorer, OFP Wallet, Mobile App, Project Operator Dashboard, and Validator Dashboard—that make tokenizing nature a real, usable reality for communities, validators, crypto users, and carbon credit offtakers alike.
Think of Atlas Explorer as the immutable record of nature. Every forest project registered on OFP is visible here— data uploaded, hectares, verification status, and monitoring reports are all fully on-chain and accessible.
For the crypto community, this is more than a map. It’s radical transparency: a permissionless ledger of natural capital assets that anyone can query.
The OFP Wallet is the best way to fully interact with the OFP ecosystem as a crypto, retail user. The OFP Wallet offers a seamless user experience for managing your $OPN, $OCC’s, NEAR balances and associated protocol activities. On the OFP Wallet, you can:
1. ‘Plant’ your OPN tokens and receive a portion of protocol fees distributed from carbon and nature assets created on-chain. This is a sustainable way to generate passive value while allowing users to contribute to carbon sequestration efforts.
2. Our Delegation feature allows you to stake or delegation your OPN to Validators and participate in the decentralized system of data verification.
Our mobile app literally puts Web3 into the hands of farmers, Indigenous communities, and local stewards on the ground, who use it to collect ground data to upload to the Project Operator dashboard later. Forest monitoring best practices are made accessible through clear guidance on data collection tasks and the app, available on any smartphone, works offline anywhere in the world.
Projects can:
The app abstracts complexity so that anyone, anywhere, can become a participant in the nature economy and supply highly valuable natural assets in the form of growing forests.
Project Operators use this platform to create and continually monitor their forest projects on OFP. Data goes from the mobile app to the project operator dashboard- all on-chain. By providing regular ground monitoring reports, project data receives a regular verification and carbon credit generation. Simple and easy to use, the creation of natural assets is intuitive.
OFP's network of decentralized nature data validators, decentralized experts and companies from all over the world, convene anonymously on the OFP Validator Dashboard to review the data uploaded by forest projects and vote to approve or deny a data upload within a 30 day period. Voting happens anonymously and with no relationship between validator and project, or other validator. Validators create revenue by participating in the most robust data verification system for carbon projects.
Together, these tools form the rails of the regenerative finance economy—where natural assets are liquid, transparent, and aligned with crypto’s ethos of decentralization and open access.
We’re not just building tech. We’re building the operating system for the planet.
